The Merrick Group came to Artifex needing to transition AngelBeds.com away from their current E-Commerce Platform, which was rapidly reaching its End Of Life and would no longer be offered. With years of order history, customer service notes, URLs with search engine weight, and numerous customizations made over the life of the site, a seamless transition was paramount.
Artifex worked closely with Merrick Group employees as well as the company responsible for the current platform to streamline the transition process and ensure all requirements were met. The Artifex team provided all new custom look and feel for the new site with extensive user interface customizations to accommodate the business needs of The Merrick Group as well as feedback from their customers. Additional functional customizations were implemented behind the scenes to improve productivity and streamline the order processing portion for Merrick Group employees, as well as the implementation of custom URLs for SEO purposes on all pages across the site, dynamic price comparison charts which automatically populate based on other changes made to products, and other company specific needs.
Even with the extent of customization required and desired, due to the flexibility and underlying power of the Merkatis Commerce platform, Artifex was able to easily meet all deadlines and budgets, while exceeding expectations.
